BEST Employers (Businesses Enhancing and Supporting Teaching) offers local organizations a means to indicate their willingness to contribute to educational efforts by providing connections to the workplace (i.e., job shadow, internship, facility tour, Externship, etc.). BEST Employers register with the UVBEP to make their contact information available to partner schools' liaisons. Register in CLiC to become a BEST Employer.
Teachers' PET (People Enhancing Teaching) Now community members have a convenient way to enhance the educational process. Teachers' PET provides a platform for individuals to express ways they would like to contribute to local classrooms based on their expertise. For example, a woodworker might assist with student projects or a botanist might offer greenhouse tours. Teachers can access this information through their school liaison to gain innovative ideas for classroom use. Do you have a skill, talent, hobby or unique experience to share with students at a local school? Register in CLiC to become a Teachers' PET.
